SYNGENTA AZ1 AND AZ2 UPGRADE

Chemicals manufacture started in 1919 Grangemouth and today the site continues to produce crop protection products for use by farmers worldwide. We employ over 350 skilled people in various roles including manufacturing, engineering, scientific and production support. Our goal is to operate “Safely , reliably and cost effectively” and to help growers protect their crops and increase their yield.
Syngenta required an increase in production of two of their older plants Az1 and Az2, this required a de-bottlenecking and replacement of equipment on the two plants. This requirement was due to an increase requirement of the crop protection products worldwide.

Customer Expectations
Due to increase requirement in production Syngenta required to upgrade part of the plant on a quick turnaround. Hamall assessed the requirements with their engineers and specified instrumentation products that would suit the upgrade and control the production to increase productivity.
